Hello

Yeap - once you've signed up, you'll be sent your running number and a piece of paper to fix to your vest back... where you can put a message. You'll also be sent a sponsorship form.

Where are you running? I've signed up for Harlow

Hiya :)

Im running in Glasgow. Do you need to train for it? Is it okay just to walk or jog at your own pace?

You can do either.

I like to train - as it's an incentive to keep fit.

Another relative of mine has had a knee op, so is using it as a reason to get better - though won't be able to run far.

Another colleague of mine, has blatantly said - there is no way she is running, and is going to enjoy the stroll!

Do whatever you fancy doing - it's the cause that matters and why we are doing it to raise awareness and money!

Are you going with anyone? It is usually quite an enjoyable event - though sometimes sad. I'll be thinking of relatives who have passed - some because of cancer.

Also for the teacher at school at the moment who is suffering - I hope she recovers.

Might as well run some of it, most people without any training should be able to jog 5k.

LOL - I couldn't jog for one minute when I first started training!

Seriously!

I used to be very fit - playing up to 10 hours + of tennis a week - but after I had my babies - the fitness totally went.

Now of course - i could jog the 5k even though I have only run 3 times in the last 12 months (1 being 2 weeks ago).

You've got to be realistic with your own abilities, and listen to your body!

I think some of my colleagues may be joining me. I can imagine it being a sad event. Its a shame, But its all for an excellent cause!
