Just been looking through HUKD for a deal on a graphics card but wondered if it would work with my system

Intel Quadcore Q8400
4GB RAM
1X 1TB HDD
1X DVD RW
Inbuilt 256 Intel Graphics Card
255W PSU

Here is the link

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/573502/gigabyte-radeon-hd-4550-512mb-graph

If the link doesnt work, it's the Gigabyte 512 Radeon HD graphics card which was £20 @ amazon

I know I'm not spoilt for choices unless i change my PSU but it's something i dont want to do, just need a good graphics card for a psu that output 255w with hdmi / dvi / vga sockets

That what is exactly in the machine

yes, for the low (255w) psu you have the 4550 is the best choice, the card you posted is a full height, so hope you dont have a slim case

I have a dell 220st, slim tower, and the 4550 also comes in low profile, either way, the fanless version uses the same low power, and the 250w in my dell runs with the 4550 just fine

It'll work, but it's not a good card for gaming and you'll be disappointed with it's performance in the long run.

I'm surprised you didn't go for the GTS 250 + new power supply (~£35), it is out of your original price range (£60?) but it's a cracking deal.
