Random OT But what do you men think to your GF/Wife wearing a see through top?

Completely random lol

I bought a top off here which is lovely, Tried it on as its for my holiday. Showed husband and he was a bit put out with the top.

Its black see through, but I did have a black bra on with nothing showing at all.
Is it just my husband being a bit OTT over a daft top? Or are all men like this with these type of tops?

Im only 28 so not old enough to be sat covered from neck to toe in woolen jumpers and jeans.

I have still packed it for holiday, I never stop him wearing anything. I just don't know whether he is being pathetic or if other married men feel this way.

This !

But other than that... I think that it's perfectly acceptable if the ladyperson is wearing a pretty brazier underneath that shows off.

My dad is the same with my mum, Even though he still comments on stuff me and my sister wear out lol Think he can't help it :p Hubby did this with a dress I bought. Was lovely backless black short dress. He said Its a dress that I should wear out with him. So it took me about 2 years to wear it out! Now it seems to be this top too. Seems daft

if you feel comfortable wearing it, then he should be OK with that
#10
smarties?
#11
Take it as a compliment as he obviously thinks you look attractive to others in it.
#12
You are approx. my daughters age, just do it, enjoy 'your 20's'.

Depends on your figure. If he's embarrased because he settled for a munter then don't wear it because you will make him hate you more. If he's going to be jealous because you look bang tidy in it, just wear it
#15
Is your husband going on holiday with you? (not that that should make a difference)

I can't see anything wrong with it - you will most likely be wearing bikinis on holiday anyway. It sounds like this top would be less revealing than a bikini top would be.
#16
My hubby wouldn't worry! He might raise his eyebrows but he wouldn't mind!

haha I did ask him if it was the 1st option you said lol But he said no and tbh i am to self conscious to wear anything revealing if I was a chunk and looked bad in it. I think it looks lovely on, no fat hanging anywhere, so thats why I was a bit miffed when he said its not a top that I can wear without him oO

Yes he is and he knows I have been bought a lovely bikini by my parents, and he knows i will be wearing that! I just don't get the fuss over this top.

Thank you all though. It has made me determined to just wear it and he will have to deal with it :)

Put a picture on here. Then he can hate you doing that instead of you wearing it on holiday.

could it be one of those tops that become see through with some flash photography, as it has been mentioned, pics, pics and more pics.
try it on again, stand in front of a mirror and take a pic.:p

haha think my flash is broke :p Shame I have the school run now lol I may wear it out for my friends birthday drinks in a couple of weeks, meaning I can get pics, even if they are drunken ones. I will wear it whether he says yes or not.

Husband has his own daughters he can dictate to about what they can and can't wear out. Don't think they rule stands for wives!

the rules of this forum are we need to see the item in question being modelled, before we can cast any suggestions lol

:)
#23
personally i will need to see a pic of you on to see how it looks.....

i kind of see what he feels to be honest.... if my wife/gf/bf (equal oppertunities and all) was wearing a see through top then it would have to be for my eyes only because lets face it........ guys eyes wonder more than a chicken being chased!!!! so i see his concern

Depends on your relationship I guess.

Do you get annoyed if he checks out other girls?

Imo, if it's bothering him lots it's probably not worth wearing out..

eh, no he's just being a normal guy (_;)

Would he object to you wearing a bikini at the beach? If not, then don't see why he would object to something less revealing in public.

...but if it's really bothering him, I don't see why you'd want to wear it. After all are you dressing up for your man or for other men?

Would you suggest she wore something that covered her entire body?

If you want to wear it and it doesn't look bad then go for it.

Your wooden spoon seems to be getting a bit of use these past couple of days.......

It wouldn't bother me if my gf wore something like that, but then I am pretty laid back most of the time. As others have said, if he's not got problem with you wearing a bikini I don't see why he should have a problem with something like this....

Simples - men are jealous creatures who don't want others to enjoy your bodily goodies.

I'm a bit that way myself, but wouldn't stop her wearing anything unless I thought she looked ridiculous, but she's stylish so it's all good brah.
