Random Thorntons Delivery...

Um ok, I don't have a clue what's going on.

Today I got a parcel from Thorntons full of chocolates, etc. But I never ordered from them?!

In the parcel it had a leaflet saying "because someone thinks you deserve a treat..." and please see reverse for personal message. There wasn't any.

But the weirdest thing was, I checked my emails and I had an order confirmation and a delivery email mentioning all the products?

Now, It said I ordered it on the 7th of December. I know for a fact i never did this. So, what the heck has happened? Surely if my email address got hacked they wouldn't send the items to my own address?

I don't know what to do...

Help please. And no, your not getting the choccies for helping :w00t: hehe.

First thing I'd do is check how they were paid for, ensure it hasnt come outta your bank account.

well I don't have a credit card myself so I'd have to check my mums when she gets home but on the email it doesn't mention any payment methods just the total. I'll check the account now and see if it says on there?

Thanks.

That was my first thought but seems as it says how much it cost and they sent me an email to "confirm" my order I somehow doubt it

I don't suppose that someone has sent them to you as a christmas present? I'd call Thorntons and tell them then they will tell you to keep them and rectify their mistake :) Enjoy!! hahah

Today I got a parcel from Thorntons [quite big and heavy] full of chocolates, etc. But I never ordered from them?!

You can do big boxes of chocs delivered to peoples house as a gift - so maybe an early christmas present? They sometimes forget to write on the reverse, or sometimes the person who ordered didnt realise they had to leave a message.
