I need to vent, before i kill.

I'm just back from my son's parent's evening and so as you can imagine the school car park is chokka. So i see a couple getting into a car so i pulled forward (out of their way) to give them room to get out. They took a few minutes to get organised during which time another car came into the car park .....you can see where this is going.

Am i wrong to call the guy a thief because he stole the space and a liar because i got out the car when he started to reverse into it and pointed to the space, at which time he stopped the car then decided what the hey and reversed into it anyway, but the then claimed he didn't see me in the car and didn't know i was waiting for it.

Why do people think they should be able to steal someone else's space because they are late. B*********

You're a female right?

My OH has this sort of thing happen to her all the time as well as getting abuse from other male drivers for the slightest thing. The funny thing is it NEVER happens when I'm in the car too. Strange that isn't it?!

well I did that to someone one time, she looked pretty miffed to, but it didnt belong to her and I had three kids to walk over the road she only had one, so I figured she could park further away, although tbh I did feel abit bad about it

yes i'm female, and was driving a stupid girly car. It never happens when i drive my jeep.
but why are people A+++s?
did he not think i was in a hurry too, why would he think his ugly child more impotant than my lovely one.
He had the cheek to tell me he was late, as if that was a reasonable statement.

I could cheerfully have killed him.:x

This happened to me in Morrisons car park about 2 years ago - I am still screwing about it :x :w00t:

I was waiting for someone to pack their shopping in their car and as they came out they had to come my way, which gave the car facing me a chance to grab the space.
I was seriously fuming. These 2 big guys got out and I went into one at them, the driver just shrugged his shoulders and went - That is the one time when I have seriously considered damaging someones car LOL!

i think that is sheer ignorance, we are supposed to live in a tolerant respectful society and a big part of that is waiting your turn and being respectful of others.

i know exactly how you feel, but i have the stress of potentially seeing this guy every time i go to the school, i seriously want to do him real damage.:x

This happened to me once, the other driver knew full well I was reversing into the spot and had the nerve to drive in diagonally to pinch it. I calmly carried on reversing until I was about an inch away from his bumper (have a reversing camera before you ask), got out, locked my car and told him he was now blocked in until it was convenient for me to finish my shopping and decide to move. He was mad as hell, followed me all the way round the supermarket whilst I did a BIG shop (only really went for bread and milk), he'll think twice about doing it again!!!

Hope the parents evening went well! You're back now seriously is it that big a deal? :?

yes it is a big deal, because it's exactly why our society is in the turmoil it is. common curtesy and decency cost nothing but make a real difference in life.

i thought about that but didn't want to cause distress to his child. They weren't there at the the time but if i parked there, he would have been unable to get out with a child in the car. And despite what i wanted to do, i know two wrong don't make a right and if i'd blocked him in, i'd be as ignorant as him.

first come, first served. Other driver got in space first, end of.
