Hi folks.

Anyone with Rapidshare premium? I'm just wondering what their payment plans mean? Pretty confusing. Are there any that give you a download limit with no time period or whut?

Just want to download a bit.

I believe it used to be pretty good too, but have no idea. Although the cheapest is most likely the one for me :p

Try and go with "Hotfile"

Rapidshare is a sinking ship.

If you have a unlimited isp (sky) then the ones that you can download none stop with no limit is megaupload/hotfile/fileserve/netload and some others.

They work out about £7 a month.

With rapidshare you pay 99 rapids a month for 30gb that do carry over if you don't use it all, if you do use the whole 30gb in that month then you can buy more rapids.

But you can download between 1am and 9am UK time and it will only take 10% IE if a film is 700mb between them hours it would only take off 70mb off your total.

i cant understand it now where does it say anything about the downloads only trafic and storage

Ok so Phil, say I buy 400 rapids - essentially I have premium for 4 months and max of 120GB across that time? Or will it carry on for ages til I use up the 120?

Just use Jdownloader

There's ways around this. I use firefox with the foxproxy add-on then just add loads of free proxies and switch between downloads so you can d/l simultaneously. You can also add the rapidshare downloader add-on to make it even easier!

Dxc, great, so any advice? Just trying to figure out how they operate RE payments as I'm not a power downloader :p

Another useful tool to hide your IP is hotspot shield. If you disconnect & re-connect it gives you a diff IP each time so you can just keep racking up the downloads!

Yes, or you could get 1.2 tb it all come down to when you use it, it will not run out untill it is all used.

I love rapidshare, used it for year and am not not stingy enough to use crappy work arounds. Used to pay £6 a month, but now it's only £1 a month, love it, in June I did 196GB in under 48 hours.

I still have about 10,000 rapids on my account and not payed for about 2 years now, when I sometimes have a netload account I use about 1tb in the 33 days that they give you, as it's unlimited and sky say sod all.
