Got a bit of a rat problem going on,living in the sticks and keeping chickens and water fowl dont help but try keeping feed to a minimum so as the rats dont have too much of a meal if any

My problem is i need to get rid of these ruddy rats but how? i cant really put poison down as i have 25 free ranging chickens and ducks whom im sure would taste it :o(

There's traps but again with youngsters about and the animals im worried what could happen

Anyone got any other ideas? dont say a gun i cant even throw a ball in a straight line yet alone try and hit a target lol

Where there is cheese there are rats,
Where there are rats there are cats,
Where ever there are cats there are dogs,
If you got the dogs you got bitches,
Bitches always out to put their paws on your riches.

Get something like this. http://www.pestfreehome.co.uk/electronic-rat-trap_details.htm. Just make sure it is positioned so it is protected from the elements, and ensure nothing bigger can gain access

This trap should be set in locations where children, pets and other non-target animals have no access. Full instructions are provided.

u must amass an army of cats to crush the rodent scum

About two Trebuchets should do the trick.

Get a rodent bait box from B&Q - the poison goes inside the protected enclosure so that your other animals don't have access.
