Anybody thinking of buying a sofa here think carefully about it
I ordered and paid for 2 sofa's and was told 3 days max, week after week I called in and was told oh yes it will be in Monday.
After waiting patiently for 8 weeks I have asked for a refund,
I also got talking to another couple outside the shop who have been waiting even longer
I will give them some credit as they offered to loan us a sofa till we got one even after giving us a refund
But all in all it was a long and worrying wait wondering if the shop was going to suddenly disappear or go bust

REAL DEAL FURNITURE STORE
unit 1 Holme house road stockton on tees

(Was the old staples store but they have moved along to the end unit on the same block now)

Never been in there, Portrack shopping area is massive but I'll keep it in mind.

3 Days for a sofa is really quick turnover... you don't say if it was the sofas on the shop floor you were wanting then sure they would be offering next day delivery or something.

If I was ordering anything these days I'd be paying by credit card. I did the same thing when I had a deposit to pay on a sofa I wanted in Walmsleys in Castlegate.... about month later they went into adminstration. I did get the sofa I ordered though, I paid for the remainder owing I put it on my credit card incase it never got delivered.

Probably better off with DFS, apparently they have a nice sale around this time of year, that is hearsay mind you so don't quote me.

I would hold off for a while though. I heard they might be starting a 4 year interest free promotion.

You should contact your bank if you paid by credit card, think you can on purchases of £100 or more if Visa Debit if you thinking you not going be getting them sofas.
