A relative is starting a security company which in time will operate globally. The company will be training security staff who may be working in the Gulf and Afghanistan etc.

We have been racking the grey matter trying to think of a good name for the company.

Name needs to relate to security and be easily memorable to enable Google searching.

Hopefully you guys can help.

Thanks everyone

I agree that when applied to what you describe in the OP his name is very very apt.

If you are willing to pay, you can pay $50 to pickydomains.com and people will bring in their suggestions for your domain (also the company name); if you dont like any you will get a refund.
I used them and got about 300 suggestions, which I didn't like any :D

I think really if your setting up a company which you envisage being global you need to speak to someone about issues such as marketing and the impact/connotations, your name etc will have.
If you can afford to finace a bussiness such as this im pretty certain you should be able to pay a proffessional for good advice, im not being cynical just sensible, if you want to start and be viewed in a reputable mannner then go along the proffesional channels..you will get a better response and and fitting solution

Anyone who is starting their own business and needs to ask relatives to ask the internet to come up with a name probably shouldn't be running their own business. Let alone sending people to war-torn countries

"Yeah mate, we know what we're doin' Steve over here has watched that Ross Kemp in Afgannystan at least 10 times. I is well good at Call Of Duty innit?"

I smell strong bs with this thread

I like the fact that a multi-national company is going to be using Google when searching for their security needs and that's why the name has to be "Google Friendly"

I think you have missed the point....sounds like they intend to get security contracts abroad after training a few operatives, not aim for world domination with their business mode.
