Hi Guys,

Just came across an excellent deal for switching current accounts.

Going through quidco http://www.quidco.com/santander-current-account/ Santander is offering customers £150 for transferring their current account to them (aslong as u pay in more than £1,000 per month. On top of this they are offering an amazing 5% interest for the first year (unheard of for a current account) and a 0% overdraft for the first 4 months.

The excellent part is that it seems to be very hassle free - they transfer all your standing orders and direct debits on your behalf and cover any charges you incur in the process. So the only thing you have to do is notify your work of the new details and voila £150 for nothing.

I wouldn't even do that Forbez - I did this about 6 months ago and have finally gotten rid of them. They have some of the rudest staff known to man.

for what??? put money in ... take money out!!! I dont need the customer services.... I did it over a year ago, and just use it as a bill account... Most of my DD have moved back into my lloyds account as I renew products, and I never transferred my wages.... free money

just to help anyone who goes for it, the fine print says you must have at least one DD setup on the account in order to get the £100. You can always change it later once you receive the money.

Indeed, the very worst of them all, I would not trust them with my money.

How people can vote a free £150 cold is beyond me - but each to their own i guess.

+1. Been with them for a few years now, I have asked for my online PIN to be posted several times, none came, and when it does, 3 comes together! Sounds like our public bus services.

To get the £150, you have to trust these muppets with your banking needs, not in a million years.

been with abbey/santander for about 20 years, all was great until i had fraud on my account. they are a total waste of time and effort, took them 6 months to refund the money, didnt want to know , didnt want to investigate where the money went to or by whom, nightmare.
left them now and with Barclays totally brilliant.
wouldnt give abbey/santander the time of day no matter how much money they offered

what do you mean 'for what'? That doesn't make sense.
