i purchased a phone for £25 was described to be used but in perfect working order, the phone turned out a piece of rubbish and the lcd has "screen bleeding damage" which is technically a fault and now i cannot resell the phone either.

seller sent the phone as standard parcel and not as recorded, what should i do?, seller obviously lied about the condition of the phone and i am thinking of raising an "ITEM NOT RECIEVED" dispute to recover the money i paid for this faulty phone, if i did this what are my chances.

what did the seller say?

why lie? makes you as bad as the dodgy seller, item not as described should do it?

item not received will give you a guaranteed refund in this case

item not as described and you will have to pay for return postage

If you have already contacted seller you cannot do a INR as they know you have the phone

I know which I would do

yes this is what i am thinking, doing an INR makes me as bad as him, only thinking like this because i was annoyed that i got a faulty phone which seller described as working. now i have to pay postage to return it and if i did contact him i have an idea what he will say. "It was working fine when i posted it" etc etc..

yeah i dont wanna lie just because he lied.

so i will raise an ITEM not recieved in described condition" dispute. was only thinking that way because i really needed the phone to be working but turned out FAULTY.

Maybe it was damaged in transit. Was it well wrapped? Contact the seller and tell them the problem, they might be very helpful and they can always try and claim from Royal Mail.

was well wraped, noticed in sellers feedback, seller had couple of negatives for selling faulty phones.
