Autoglym HD Wax is very good
Also The Collonite range is very good

i'd also recommend claying the car first and masking any small scratches/swirls with polish

Mer. Not a wax but the easiest, and one of the best shines you'll get.

Which did a thorough test several years ago - Mer didn't come out very well - not very long lasting....I remember the mention of Mer as its the one I usually use....

turtle wax from asda (in a red tube thing) works awesome!

you can always use a clay wax thing - meguiars has an awesome product..

Collinite 476S - This you can apply and remove very very easily, and also if it goes on black plastics and/or rubber it will not turn it white. Superb stuff. Have used it for years.

You mean a clay bar? Thats not wax, its a cleansing product.

Just seen that P21S has been rebranded in Europe as R222.

/\ /\ This. Fantastic wax, not too expensive. Bought mine from cleanyourcar.co.uk for about £23 I think.
FinishKare 1000p is also fantastic. It's a sealant, not a wax, but it goes on and buffs off easily and lasts for absolutely ages. I used it on my wife'sboss's car > 3 months ago and it's still going strong.

i have just started using showroom shine which is waterless and provides a carnuba wax layer too,as like you im on permit parking about 100 yards from my door (used to go back n forth with buckets!),lifts grit,so no scratching!...fantastic product and v.quick too! (as i hate cleaning cars!) ;)
