After much pressure, I'm sorting out an ISA! Having looked, it seems as though Santander have the best for instant access (I don't like the idea of someone having my money and not being able to get at it)!! However, I've heard terrible things about Santander and have had past dealings with Abbey which were terrible so I've not much faith! It seems as though they have an "instant access account" at 3% and a "cash ISA" at 3.3%, both having instant access?! The only difference I can see is that if you withdraw, you cannot put that money back it (ie it all counts towards your annual limit) for the cash ISA.
I'll be depositing between 3-4k and paying in around £300 a month but must have instant access and be online... So... is this the best ISA or is there another option out there? I'm pretty clued up when it comes to money but I've never had to bother with credit cards/ISAs etc so don't want to lump my money with any old Tom, Rick or Harry :-D
