Well i have started to notice that my taste in music has become very selective lately, i used to like blink 182 and bolwing for soup etc. SInce but that that has gone main stram it has kind of ruined it for me and tbh with that type of music its all sounds the same after a while.

So im really after so advice to broaden my horizen of music some of my current favourits: Lily Allen, BoBurnham, OneRepublic, The Streets, Wiley, and *cough* Son of Dork *cough*

SO can anyone recommend me some music then, throw me a couple of youtube links please :) x

ooh-so hard to reccomend when its such a personal thing-you may like to check out an american band called "five for fighting"-dont seem to have broken through in europe but they are very very good.

one album you may or may not have heard of also is "throwing copper" by live-they should have been huge!
Muse are awesome.
Morrissey is God.
OMD are class.

good taste! morrisseys new album is a work of total genius.
as fast as are good if you like blink and bowling's old stuff,
zebrahead, the salads, spunge all similar styles to what you have listed and not mainstream

personally i would recomend old stuff

ac/dc, led zepplin, alice cooper, black sabbath
Was playing Marilyn Manson's 'Antichrist Superstar' album last night.

One of my fave ever albums.
I also used to like Blink and Bowling, Last couple I downloaded were Ting Tings and Scouting for Girls - both 10 out of 10 for me but I think they may already be too mainstream.

I'd recommend Spotify, you can search an artist you like and it brings up their own albums, plus VA albums their songs have been on, I've found some decent albums to listen to that way.
kevin devine
albums in car at mo
pink-i'm not dead
snow patrol-eyes wide open(i think!, last years one anyway
green day-american idiot
the view (think they only done one album so far can't rem name of it has superstar dj etc on)
