I don't know of any reason why not, except that they are horrid. It's a yes from me.
#2
huh? of course she can :)
#3
Yes, just make sure that if they are not the ones you buy in tins that you cook them properly, as in soak, boil, simmer etc.

Pretty certain they ok... if they do have a high Vitamin A content such as liver then probably best to give them a miss but don't think they contain Vit A,or least nothing on level of Liver.

Some say avoid fish that may contain mercury, avoid nuts, there a checklist in the NHS maternity notes or there was during 2009.

yep-as anet says-tinned is fine-if its dried ones you need to be careful you prepare them correctly, but that applies to everyone whether pregnant or not
#6
its probably easier to list what she should avoid
#7
Yeah I'm 32 weeks pregnant and kidney beans are fine.
#8
Far too much info than you really want to read but things to avoid when you're pregnant.

Congrat, btw :p

yeah thats probally what shes heard that she needs to cook the dried ones, but these are tinned so shes ok.

I thought it was a strange question lol.

Thanks peeps

Remember that if you are cooking the dry kidney beans you have to boil them vigorously for about ten minutes then throw that water away and replace with fresh stuff for the remainder of the cooking.

What she cant eat is castor beans.

Too much is made of what can't be eaten IMO. Most things are fine.

I think it's a common misconception that Sushi is fish. Sushi is rice but is usually accompanied by fish giving people the impression that sushi is fish when it is not.

My bad ... it was the raw fish I was referring to (hate the stuff myself!).
