Sorry, no Premier League football anymore so cold from me im afraid !

Great deal if you want to pay subscription to a company thats on the verge of going into administration due to non payment,
#5
Not actually going to vote hot or cold as I don't know if the company is going to fold and at the moment without any football I find £5 too expensive.

BUT

I called last week to cancel and (boxing coming up) decided to go with free month and 2 * £5 deal.

If they are still around, remember to call and cancel again in 4 or 5 months so you get another deal.

Is it official that the contract with the Premier League has been terminated? I would guess they will get the weekend to discuss last min deal before the termination and announcment to the city on Monday.

Unless someone bales out Sentanta then you might as well put your money here

Who has expired this and spammed it? The offer is still valid and the channel provide the Racing Channel and other channels. It was £25 originally to subscribe to the racing channel! Maybe the company will go bust BUT you don't pay upfront.

I am only a new member but from what I have seen, there are far too many people who havn't got a clue on what they are doing. If you expire something then surely it would be a good idea to post the name of the person who expired it IF they don't leave a comment.

Bye Bye Sultana - you were utter crap

even if they go bust its only a rolling contract not a long term one

may not be as good as sky but i pay 10 now to setanta after having it free for 10 months

and paid over 40 to get the sports on sky

and have one more season of premier leauge football before the games are halved also decent / ufc /pga tour and boxing

I hope sky don't put football on tv on Monday nights. This is so difficult for fans to get to away matches. International matches on a channel that so few people watch, I'm glad to see the back of setanta.

£50 pound for 50 games ALL IN HD!! - £1 a game versus £13/month with Setanta...:whistling:

Sky arnt allowed to bid for all 46 setanta premiership games, they can only bid for 23 of them same as they had bid for and been successful between 2010 and 2013.

So if they get 23 of the existing setanta games for the coming season that would be over £2 a game if they brought prem plus back at its one off £50 charge.

Where as setanta show lots of other sport, championship games, scottish premiership games and england games for that £13 a month and im sure thats more than 6 matches in total per month which kinda makes Sky via Prem Plus worse value than Setanta for the avid football fan. I think its a reasonable assumption that sky wont just give the extra 23 as part of the existing sky sports package as it would cost them money and they would get nothing extra back.

In addition we will have to pay whoever gets the other 23 games, im sure if ESPN get them that will be another cost .........

I didn't like the extra subscription but Setanta showed a lot more than just the crappy Premiership games that it got allocated (hardly ever a good match).

The PGA Tour Golf coverage, Boxing (every major fight not on Box Office) and UFC was all good and I just hope Sky pick some of it back up. I'm not sure if ESPN will be able to have the golf as Setanta use the footage from CBS/Golf Channel which is one of their rivals. If Sky pick it up, then they won't show as much coverage as Setanta did as they had their own dedicated channel for it.

As usual, it's the subscribers who suffer as we now have to miss crucial events whilst we wait for the others to pick over the bones.

I'll only miss them if Sky doesn't show the stuff that they lost to them.
