Refund from Ebuyer for faulty item but they havent refunded postage, what do I say?

As above returned something to Ebuyer and paid £10 for express delivery when it was originally sent to me, it was faulty so they have given me a refund minus the original £10 delivery costs.

I thought by law they had to refund this? What do I say if I ring them up as I have a feeling like many companies they may try and mess me around.

yes they have to, get on their case to give you your money back, never heard of a company withholding the postage costs. Find the applicable law and quote it to them if you have to

You quote them their own terms on their website!

Items Faulty on Arrival

If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 28 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault (please note that for our business customers, this is 14 calendar days). Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we'll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.

They are liable for delivery charges as well.

"Refunds
On the cancellation of a contract, any sum paid by the consumer must be repaid as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of cancellation. The full price paid for the goods must be refunded and this includes the cost of delivery of the goods to the consumer."
