If someone buys something via eBay, then instantly cancels the order as he does not want it anymore (not really an excuse), Who is responsible for paying the PayPal fees?

File a dispute for an unpaid item all fees(or refund the item the correct way through paypal) will be funded from both ebay and paypal
File a dispute on ebay with the reason that you both have mutually agreed not to complete the transaction... You will bave your ebay fees credited... Also, refunds via paypal automatically credit you back 'their fees' once it has been completed.

Hope this helps :-)
cheers for that guys. I just noticed now that Paypal has "their fees" which makes things clearer. At times the language used is a bit too "american" - and hard to understand.
If you refund a payment through paypal then there are no paypal fees to pay.........they get refunded also.

It's eBay fees you have to get refunded.
