West Brom 6
Aston Villa 9
Birmingham 5
Wigan 3
Wolves 6
West Ham 6

Villa and Fulham will pull clear, expect Blues will just about scrape out so it will be 3 of West Brom, Wolves, Wigan and West Ham. I'd say West Ham probably have the best chance so I'd go Wigan, Wolves and West Brom.

I also think Fulham and Villa will pull clear, not so sure about Birmingham though.

Think Birmingham, West Brom, Wigan, Wolves and West Ham will go down to the last few games with West Ham and Birmingham just about staying up.

That all depends on West Ham signing a half decent striker though and hoping Hitzleperger and Collison come back with enough of the season left to turn things around.

I think Villa getting Bent was a huge signing, his goalscoring will fire them clear, i feel they would of been in a proper scrap if they hadn't of got him in.

I think it will be Wigan, West Brom and West Ham that will go. Also think if any other team will get pulled into it then it will be Everton..........if they get a couple of injuries then they are in the mire.

West Ham
Wigan
Wolves

With Brum a close 4th from bottom.

Seems such a waste for a 60,000 seater stadium! X)

I did have to laugh at the emotive Brady comments... "I'ts like building 1000 primary schools and knocking them down a month later!" Some might say "We could have built 1000 primary schools and funded for the next 100 years if all this money hadn't been wasted in the first place".

Whats your hopes? Personally I think its a massive mistake to agree to the stadium with the running track. Upton Park is a great little ground for atmosphere..... which you'll be waving goodbye to. You've only got to look at the number of clubs that have taken over running track stadiums, then moved away after.

I think WHU will win the bid, but despite the views the bid is just to force Harringeys hands with the WHL planning approval, I really can see massive reason to hope we win. Its got superb rail and underground links (unlike WHL), ticks all the boxes for a purpose built stadium and with the new shopping complex planned, means the lads can drop the missus off to do the shopping and pick them up after the game! I also think that keeping a 60000 athletic stadium is pointless - and the redevelopment of Crystal Palace would be the better option......

But as I said, I do think you'll get the stadium, just curious (other than stopping Spurs) if you'd be happy about it?

I'm trying to steer clear of anything Karen Brady at the moment i must confess.

I'm in two minds about the Olympic Stadium, if we get it then great, if we lose it then great, we stay at Upton Park. The running track was a problem for me at first as whenever i go to Upton Park i like to be right behind the goal in touching distance of the back net. But the more i think about it the pros outweigh the cons. Its going to be a beautiful stadium and in a prime location. We can't stay at UP forever and the area is an absolute bomb site. Upton Park station is a nightmare after a game and im assuming Stratford would be a hell of a lot better.

I don't think we would have a problem filling the stadium either as long as the Davids keep the promise of reducing the ticket price a bit. Its a bit much paying £50 a ticket to watch the leagues bottom team.

Overall i would be happy if we won the bid. I'd be super happy if West Ham had Tottenhams ideas of ripping out track and redeveloping Crystal Palace instead but thats not what the important people want to hear...

I'm convinced it will go down to the last game of the season with at least 5 clubs involved on the day.

We will definately be one of them.

Were not scoring goals, won't if we don't sign a striker but more worringly, scott dann is out for the season and since he was injured we have looked very suspect at the back.

Wednesday night is hopefully just what we need after the farce at Old Trafford.

West Ham will struggle if Birmingham play Zigic, we've conceded so many goals from knock downs recently and i think Brum would of picked up on that.

Also it couldn't be a better time to play us, Obinna and piggy head suspended cole not fit although he will probably play anyway and the team in desperate need of a rest as we haven't got a big enough squad to rotate.

Would like to see Grant play Hines & Sears up front although we would have to keep the ball on the floor all game. I'm just praying Benni McCarthy doesn't get the nod oO

It should be a great night, full house under the floodlights at St Andrews is always a belter but a semi final against the hammers is one to look forward to.

Are you coming to St Andrews?

I'm hoping Ipswich hold out as then both teams, i'm guessing, will try that little bit harder lol

west ham, wolves & wigan to go down.

norwich to get promoted, will be good for the league, as we play great attacking football
#15
I hope Blackpool dont get dragged into the fight, if they lose confidence and lose 5/6 in a row. The way the league's going you'll need 41-44 points to stay up which in the 90's when the league was tighter was the norm.

To go down I'd like: West Ham, Wigan and West Brom
To go up: QPR, Leeds, Notts Forest

I think the only way we will get relegated is if we lose Adam...

it's a credit to Blackpool that in the talk of relegation Blackpool don't ever get mentioned, there aren't many promoted sides (especially for the first time) that can say that come February.

I'd like to see Watford get promoted, not only as they are my local club but they play some great football.

QPR and Norwich or Forest would be good for the prem.

Blackpool will lose Adam in the next few days but i think the attacking football they will play will help them stay clear of the dogfight.

Tbf the championship has regurlarly promoted good footballing sides lately, West Brom, Blackpool, Newcastle etc, lately they seem to be staying up too which is a good thing. Hopefully the lumpers of the premiership i.e Wolves etc will be replaced by better footballing teams such as QPR and Watford. It's staying up that's the problem.

We literally have built our whole team around Adam. Like Alonso used to do at Liverpool Adam sits deep and dictates play, just like Alonso used to do at Liverpool. No idea how we will replace him, not to mention how damaging it is to any team to lose their captain and set piece takers half way through a season.
