Just a quick poll.
73% of people in the 2001 census said they were religious.
This information is then directly used to associate spending and social projects. The truth is, in terms of christianity especially, people will say they are religious in the census simply because they 'associate' themselves as being part of a social group. They do not attend church and they don't even believe in god.
End result is a poor representation of our society simply because of poorly formulated question in the census.
So. Do you believe in god, are you not sure, or are you a non believer?
