TeamViewer is fairly easy to setup/use

I do it via MSN messenger...very easy.

Open chat window. click 'activites' then 'request remote assistance'

start >help and support> invite a friend to connect to your computer using remote assistance,

follow the steps from there

oh but thats from her end but its pretty easy all she really needs is your email address

Yep ....that's how all remote software works ....one a client .....the other a server.

You could do as Rumblefish suggested above and use Messenger ....then 'Ask for Remote Assitance' !

Both u and ur Mum would have to install and create an account each then add each other to the Buddy List.....then ur Mum can 'Ask for Remote Assistance'.....

But if she doesn't know much about PC's then i think you'll be struggling a bit !!

Teamviewer is probably more straight forward to use though so try it 1st !!
