Remove Nintendo Wii Black 4.1e Softmod

Hello

Does anyone know how to remove a softmod from a Nintendo Wii on 4.1e. It has a USB loader and Homebrew Channel on it, but would like to remove it completely.

My mate wants to buy it and run all orignal games, update and play online without bricking the console.

Anybody know how?

Thanks!

100% it............it just updates it to the latest official firmware and overwrites your softmod.

Bear in mind it will be a pain if he wants to do it again. Couldn't you just put the homebrew and usb channel on a different page so it looks normal?

last time i updated my wii - it knocked off the homebrerw channel
i wasnt using it so no problems

Did it update fine? and was the hack fully removed or is it still on there?

If he updates to the latest soft mod, it will run all games.
Nintendo don't ban modded consoles from online.

Also, if the console has Priiloader or similar, he won't be able to update it to the latest official firmware without disabling it anyway.

Yeah i think it has Priiloader on it, il check later and try updating. Hopefully it doesnt brick

I don't know why anyone would un-soft mod, I'd hate to ever go back to disks again.

might want to sell it or trade it?

Like I said, Priiloader is stopping it.

If there are any games that he can't get to work, then he needs to Google it, and get the right cIOS's

Would an orignal work fine? i.e the latest/future games? Or would they require me to download the cIOS's too?
