Removing an item from Ebay

Ive got a console listed on Ebay which I was selling because I got two for xmas - however the other ones showing signs of packing in therefore I want to remove my listing. Do I incur any costs by doing so? Do I still have to pay the listing fee? What about the fee for having a reserve? Also what happens about bids that are on it? Obviously I dont want to give Ebay money if I dont have to!

Any advice gratefully recieved

You need to search in the ebay main page for "end listing early". Fill in all details and the listing will end immediately.

You have already paid the fees, and these are never returned to you (Bitter experience)

unfortunately you will still be charged the fees from when you listed the item, including the reserve price fee as ebay listed the item as per your instructions so you still have to pay for that.you wont be charged anything other than that.any bids on the item currently will automatically be cancelled.

Make a new account, bid on your own item, then don't pay, get your fee's back as you had a none paying seller.

This will not work, as the original listing fees are still payable, a non paying bidder only entitles you relist free. Just end the auction with reason item no longer available

If you agree with the buyer not to complete the transaction then afaik you get everything back. Obviously the buyer in this case is yourself or a friend so that won't be a problem!

amend the listing and add coyrighted material then have someone report the listing. it gets removed and no fees charged
