Removing car wheel trims

Hey just bought a set of wheel trims off ebay and im trying to work out how to get my wheel trims off my renault clio -ive tried pulling and pulling but nothings happening - anyone any hints of getting them off?

my old renault wheel trims had a section of wire that clipped them in place, you had to squeeze both parts of the clips at once to release the trim

the wheel bolts arnt holding the hub caps on are they ? if not then a lever behind the cap and lever off !

I can see a wire next to the trim with a small clip but i cant get the leverage to jimmy it off

you shouldnt need to lever it off, you should have to squeeze this clip and a second corrosponding clip that will be situated close to it,

Kerb it.

My mate got his off yesterday, pulled up to have a chat, kerbed his front wheel, set off, turned a corner, he went one way, the trim went rolling down the other road.

Right we did it took 2 days to work it out but the trims are off and the new ones are on
