We are going tomorrow, anyone know what the disabled parking is like? Last year at donington it was on the far side of the track, ideal if you just want to watch the action, awful for taking the kids round the attractions and other stuff, any help appreciated!

just came back from dinner, and silverstone. we went with 3 other mates, was a good day out, the weather held out without rains. and we saw the F1 cars racing in a qualifier which are a league of its own in terms of rev, vibrations, sound, volume. a couple hair raising moments, cars avoiding each other etc. we parked near the entrance, started around the chicane and walked around, and later in the afternoon came back for the 3.30pm F1 renault race so was a nice finish to the day, with salvator as winner (they kept repeating his name, not that i know who he is) ...

oh go on then, numpty show us our photos.

lol my bro took photos with his nice camera but he has them on his computer when i get them i will upload some
but as you said about the sound it was awesome just mind blowing from the formula renault 3.5 but then when the F1 car went out it just went to another level. i am an avid fan of formula one and went to regents street a few years ago when they did a formula one presentation through the streets and they were loud then but for the first formula one showing today we were standing at Beckettes (2nd corner) and the speed the driver carried was absolutely ridiculous not a hint of lift on the throttle and when he did he didnt even brake only went down the gears which enabled the engine breaking to kick in and slow down the car. All in all a very good first experience for me at Silverstone and to see a formula one car doing exactly what is does best. The whole day was great!
