Not looking at other breakdown covers as i want the parts and labour cover too which is only available as part of the breakdown cover.

Appreciate any help :)

Don't know about quidco but I ring the AA when its renewal time and then press the option that says'if you are thinking of leaving the AA' .From this I usually get about 25% discount.

Could be worth a try.

Yep, I always go via quidco as a new customer every year with Green Flag, as it's cheaper than renewing.. It tracks and pays fine, AA would be no different I would imagine.

I've done it every year with RAC and it's always tracked.

Last week I tried to renew it and RAC now charge more for cars over 10 years... :x

Thanks guys AA did call me before the membership lapsed and it ended up cheaper then the renewal quote but the same price as a new customer, so Quidco would be a bonus

I normally swap each year between AA & RAC then back to AA again each time using quidco.

I was thinking of doing that, but want to stick to AA for the parts and labour add on

was thinking of switching as a new customer from AA to RAC and maybe even greenflag.

Just seems so much cheaper, phoned them up today to cancel and all they could offer me was the same quote but give me interest free monthly payments.. £8.62 per month.

think i am going to leave it or have it cancelled and move to the RAC via quidco.. even at the risk of quido not going through i get some kind of discount being a new member.

why are they so teef when it comes to renewals. I got an 57 plate, so hoping it doesn't clonk out on me lol
