I may be talking rubbish here but wandered if you can have the screens replaced?? I have a 40" Samsung LCD and my lovely 2 yr old daughter found a ceramic tea coaster to break in half and draw on our tv! :(

It looks like car scratches all over it, gutted...

Any ideas?..... anyone??

Oh my word:shock:

Best thing I can suggest is to try and claim on your household insurance if you have accidental damage cover.

It wouldn't surprise me if it is as much to but a new tv as have the screen replaced!

After that.....get the little blighter adopted!:whistling: ;-)

oh my! I'm not sure what our home insurance covers, but if it did cover accidental damage, would they cough up because the TV works, it just has the bad AND BLOODY DEEP scratches *sobs* its still watchable...until the program goes dark and then once you see it them you find yourself staring at em!

I agree with adoption! Any hot deals on them?? ;)

Many thanks for your replys x

cost of this will be a killer, the best thing to do is take out insurance on the two after 2 weeks make a claim

and if you go to an official Samsumg repair they will charge a bomb also if you go to a local tv repair person they might fit a copy LCD screen therefore the picture might not been good :(
