Replacing car CD player

Just bought a CD player to replace my broken one, problem is I don't have a clue how to remove the old one, or fit the new one.

Any tips? I can try and take pictures if that helps, but it'll be difficult with it being dark out now.

try reading car manual, then read the instructions
what car
what stereo
Where are you
information is such a help

It drains all my energy reading minds
They usually require a removal key, Usually after slide them down the sides and then it becomes free.

If it's got a couple of holes either side you could improvise and use some metal wire, In the past I've used a metal coat hanger and cut it into pieces.

Insert into holes and then tug towards you.
4 coat hangers one in each hole then press laterally and pull
Nevermind, sorted. My brother got a screwdriver and forced it out, I wouldn't have managed, I try to be gentle with things. Thanks for everyone's help anyway.
I normally find a block of C5 normally works :)
Next use flat screw drivers or knives. It's a easy job and good way to make money lol.
