Hey folks, I have some friends who are having battery life issues with a Phillips DECT handset of some sort. I've popped the cover off and it's using a pair of AAA/R03 1.2V 600Mah Ni-mh batteries, clearly they need replaced however after being taken to a shop apparently these batteries are no longer available. I'm not sure which shop the phone was taken to so I'm not entirely relying on what they were saying but I do realise at times the situation is not as simple as it seems.
The potential problem is that the batteries are charged in the handset, anyone tried replacing batteries in one of these devices? I have some spare AAA Ni-mh 1.2V 1000Mah batteries which I was going to try but I don't want to risk mucking up someone else's phone.
Thanks for any advice,
