Does anyone know how to increas/decrease the res on Vista? just need to know as i think all my file icons are a bit big and would like to make them smaller so i can fit more file icons in. thanks Read More

Right click the desktop and select Performance >> Display settings

Even better, if you go to your dsktop, hold down control and spin the scroll wheel on your mouse it maks the icons bigger/smaller. They go absolutely tiny if that's what you want...

Erm... not really. I'd say "turn aero glass off if you need performance speed" but I love it so it'd be hypocritical of me lol.

Oh and don't forget to press the windows key and M if you want to bring up your desktop in one move and still leave your gadgets on view

I have a quick-launch button for that lol... :)
