Sorry for this rant people but during a thread...a post was submitted which i wasnt able to respond to (thread was expired)...so I am replying here!

Last post by Spritey...Reckon i could live in your please world? The one that doesn't have the realities of life attached to it? Ones where if the main income provider doesn't made redundant that you have to take the best option for you, even if it means a big move to support your family.

Or the world where you always get employeement locally to you so you don't have to look further a field to secure a position or worry about transportation..

Do everyone get free candy in your world to?

My world has full of complications, and has done. I'm mid 20's with a 5 year old daughter. I work full time and i have sole responsibility of my daughter (this was my choice as I went through courts and fought her mother). I get childcare (which is partly funded by tax credits but i pay my tax so cant really begrudge that). And so you're aware, i work 20 miles away from home and dont drive so i use public transport.

And speaking of free candy...our boss has give our team a box of wine gums as a little thank you...so yes we do get free candy!

Yerp, i asked for it to be locked due to it going so far off point.. As the admin pointed out, the issues weren't being discussed and instead i was being attacked.

You were aiming questions at me like..

Why didn't i consider transport when we moved for my wifes job...
Why use taxis...
Why not use annual leave when required..

I gave very simple and easy explanations to both those reasons..

Such as....

- The reality is, in most cases.. During a job search you're forced to look outside your local area for work, it's very often not the case that both you and your partner have jobs just up the road.. It would be nice if it were true, but unfortunately not.

- Annual leave in most cases needs to be booked in advanced.. Not suited for last minute job interviews. I and many others can't just take off work at a mins notice.

- Not all places have good public transport links, particularly where i live and especially where the interviews were located..

You wanted to continue attacking / questioning me, refusing to acknowledge the realities most familys / people are faced with.. Which you should more than be aware of..

I'm not going to post regarding this again, it's just getting silly. It was suppose to be focusing on the system and how it's.. right.. You turned it into questioning my circumstances.

I appreciate that...another poster who didnt like the responses so closed the thread? Why ask for advice or have a rant and then moan at the responses??

I dont think people were attacking you...and i werent either. But you were complaining about the system not working for you...but a lot of the circumstances were brought on by yourself/your partner.

I too will now close this thread...and i apologise if you felt you were being attacked.

yeah its generally what happens here, you get more acceptance if you're a working class film pirate, bit-torrent freeloader, DS R4 user, Gavin and Stacey personified, PS3 4 blu-ray fanboy, X factor/BGT toting bandit , mispriced item guzzling greedo that whines when they get cancelled wanting to know their rights, weight upon their shoulders parent with a unique situation
