Lance Armstrong has a reating heartbeat 37 so you still have some way to go. But on a serious not 44 it fine (well great TBH) more important is the recovery rate between your resting and full rate.

you need to lie down for 10 minutes to get an accurate reading

mines lower then yours...and i can bet you do more exercise then i do as well! or at least aerobic exercise...and you certainly weigh less

just done mine, and its 41bps, I used to be a long distance cross country runner so was really fit, however gave it up years ago and my bpm has never really change since,

i never train now lol

oh i thought it HAD to be around 40 BPM lol, how do you know i didnt excercise???

- running round after a nearly 1 year old is excercise enough for me at the mo, dont get the time to even think about working out

what i want to know is why is mine 65 :? im 6 ft 4 weigh 82 kilos, play at least 3 hours of ball 3 times aweek atm, i walk everywhere i eat healthily, so why the frick is it so high :?

Give over - I am not that fit and had to ask at work what it meant. Had it checked by the nurse here and its actually 50


And what's that mean and how do you findout about it?

Do I just check my pulse for a whole minute, as that sounds like too much effort? :giggle:
