Restoring colour to old leather jacket

I've got a really nice vintage 'cafe racer' leather jacket which I love, but its looking a bit shabby - its from the 70's so that's hardly surprising I suppose! Basically the colour is faded in various places, its not stained or dirty, and I'd like to attempt to bring back some of the original colour, although I'm not expecting it to be 'as new'!

Any tips, ideas on products or advice from anyone?

Thanks!

I've used boot/shoe polish on loads of jackets ,mainly black ones . It makes the leather like new and supple .I've done all my bike jackets and years ago did my old bomber jacket .Like new .I say .
