Seems a very very sensible decision imo

I think this should never have gone to caught and the criminals also got off too lightly

Yeah glad to hear it!

Ridiculous though that he had to be put through a stressful 9 months beforehand waiting to see if he would be prosecuted! But, for our 'justice system' this is a good result.

"So a criminal armed with a spade and a knuckleduster is not jailed. Just what does a criminal have to do to get jailed these days?"

Refuse to pay their council tax? Defend their family? Work hard? Park on double yellows?

---

Thought that was quite funny, clever and so on. 'Ear 'ear for common sense!

If this is the same person, then the crown prosecutor is a complete hypocrite.
Crown barrister Chris Dunn told the jury: "It is a hell of a thing to hit someone with a razor-sharp sword. It is a battlefield weapon.
"The sword is always going to out-trump the knuckleduster.
"This was over the top. This was too far. We don't live in a land where you can hit someone in your front garden with a Samurai sword."
