I have contacted Amazon to get a replacement TV because mine had developed a couple of faults. They sent me an email with the link to print off the return label. When I have printed off the label to stick on the box it says that I need to pay the return postage costs.

I thought that the delivery would have been paid by Amazon due to the fact the TV is faulty

Can anyone help who has had experience of sending faulty large items back to Amazon

Thanks

DId they send you a pre-paid returns label or did they refund you the delivery cost at a later date.

they normally get DHl to pick up for free if its a faulty item, they did for a faulty HDD recently

did you select the right option?

best to give them a call to sort

I have just spoken to them again and they said because I dont have the original box for the TV, the delivery driver on Wednesday might wait until I open the new TV, put the faulty TV in its box then attach the returns label. Or I can contact them after the new Tv has been delivered to arrange another date for the collection of the faulty one.

Dont really want the second option as both my wife and I work full time and I need the take a days holiday to wait in for the new TV and would mean taking another days holiday to wait it for them to collect a faulty TV.

ask to DHL to collect from depot, take the old tv,swap boxes, hand back to DHL there and then?
