returning sennheiser headphones

some advice please, im sending some cx-500's to sennheiser under warranty as they are faulty, however i bought them from play and have lost the reciept, will play be able to send me a duplicate one or can i print the order history page under my account to proove date of purchase?

if you log into your play.com account, then select order history from the left hand menu, you can then select the order with the headphones on, The next screen should then act as a receipt as it gives the date and price you paid.

yeah cheers found that page, just wondered if sennheiser would accept it, suppose ill have to try it and find out

Technically, but Play only accept returns for 30 days as part of their T&Cs. Being from Jersey, they aren't bound to our laws.

iv had mine for 10 months and the right ear has gone distorted, emailed sennheiser and they sent me a return ref. stating i needed the reciept and they would replace them under warranty, play didnt want to know.

Sennheiser did accept a print-out of an eBuyer invoice from me as proof of purchase in the past (OMX range clip on headphones).

Amazon replace faulty Sennheiser headphones directly from their own stock for new ones in the first year. They even pay for the return postage (pre-paid Royal Mail postage label).
