Make a mind map of key facts.

Print it out.

Then make mind maps for each of the key facts.

Print them out.

Revise lots. Past papers will always help you get an idea of the kind of things that the examiners will ask. Which exam board is it for?

Good luck.

The harder you try to take it all in the harder it will be. Just relax and take regular breaks.

Might seem a hard task but get up an hour earlier and use the time to revise rather then at night, my teachers aways told us you are more likely to remember the facts. You have nothing to loose.

My tip - never revise. It just stresses you out so you underperform. Have a good nights sleep before going, and a shot of vodka for nerves.
Guarunteed pass in all languages exams, and most written exams.

How did it go?? Hope you didn't go for the 'don't revise' advice! :-)

Reas ur notes out aloud as its more likely to be regisered into your mind. Also walk around when you are reading to yourself - for some reason this drastically makes it easier for me to remember stuff.

I find it a lot easier to concentrate with some radio station on in the background as one part of your barin relax's while the other part takes it all in.

I find just reading through everything and going over notable points with a highlighter easier than actively trying to remember stuff. The more p[ressure you feel the harder info is to take in. Relax in the knowledge you've already learned the stuff and all your doing is reminding yourself. It really helps if you have a copy of the relevant curriculum too just so you can scrap any bumpff you may have written

Thank you everyone. Well I had my ICT exam at 9 this morning, finished at half 10! lol. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, and most of it I just knew, even though I didnt think I would. The stuff on ICT in health and networks that I revised loads of didnt come up! grrr. Thanks again everyone. I have two history exams tomorrow.

British History - Peel, Repeal of the corn laws, Chartism and Reform Act 1832.

and horrible -

German Politics, from imperial germany to fdr and gdr, boring!!!

General studies wasnt too bad - is pretty easy and there is no revision for it. Surprised you arent doing it - all you have to do is turn up on the days of the exams and you get an extra a-level!

I just have sociology next wednesday :)
