Yeah i think too many people are not seeing the reality of anti-social teenagers "ruling" the streets. This was never a problem 5/10 years ago and its getting worse.
#8
I think he meant it like "DO THEY THINK THIS IS FUNNY!"

The title is "Is this funny" followed by ! ! ! not ?, I guess because someone thought it would be funny to blow away an eleven year human being....

Funny it is not, but these people are sick, they need to be taken out of our society.

A bit like knowing someone who is holding or hiding an illegal gun, could you do nothing about it? and just say to yourself "Is this funny!"

Remember Crimestoppers number is 0800 555 111 if you want to make a difference.

Crimestoppers is asking for anyone with information about people who have guns, that are being used for criminal activity, whether they are imitation or real – to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Crimestoppers will not ask for any information about you and they do not record or trace calls – they only want to know what you know, not who you are. You will not have to give evidence in court. Information you give Crimestoppers will be passed on to the police and could help get one more gun off the streets.

Been out all day at the coast with our kids having fun, along with 100's of other families. Only just read this news report....how dare some faecesbags deny this poor lads family of ever being able to do what we have today. Innocent little lad wiped out and his family and freinds left totally devastated. Even if they catch murderers - what will they get?? At the most a few years off the streets at the tax payers expense. What a kick in the crotch that will be for the parents - not only have they had their beloved child taken from them, but they also have to pay the government to keep these evil ******** in the nick

RIP Precious

Yes, it's time for 'life' to mean life. Even for mindless scum that are under the age of 16. Let's bring an end to the 'holiday camp' sentences that these animals receive. There is too much teen gang violence going on to let them off on the grounds of being a minor. A 15yo gangster knows full well the consequences of shooting an 11yo kid in the back of the neck. I don't give a toss if he is under 16, a life sentence it should be for such a heinous crime. Kids like that are of no use to society and should be treat with the contempt they deserve.
RIP Rhys.

Absolutely tragic that this should happen to anyone let alone a poor little 11 year old who is still a baby really. :-(

Sadly, while the goverment continues to underfund the Police and offer more support, Human Rights and compassion for the criminals in this country it will continue to go down the toilet.

Sadly things will get much, much worse before they have a chance of getting better. :x

Yet another young life come to an unnecessary end.

This one has really brought it all home for me, being so close to where I live. My cousins play around there with friends sometimes and the fear that we felt when we heard the news report was unexplainable, as was the relief when we knew that they were at home at the time.

It shouldnt be so easy to get hold of a gun, and the punishment for a crime such as this should be a lot harder.

Bring back the death penalty. :x

Very very sad. I was distraught this past weekend, when we took our 2 and a half year old boy out. I was carrying him down some steps, slipped and fell and he fell a over t down about 5 steps. Bump and a graze on his head and also a bruise on his bum.
So I can't imagine the pain the family must be going through at this time. Lets just hope they catch the little **** that did this and lets hope he / she gets what they deserve!

It is only when you have had children can you appreciate how heart wrenching this story is.

It makes me incredibly sad, and yes I have had wet eyes reading about his family's torment and what his friends have said, and the reports in the press. This is the last paragraph on one of the BBC reports - Rhys Jones didn't even live long enough to be a teenager, never mind play for his favourite football team. -

Most children expect to bury their parents but never the other way around.....

The violence has to stop.

Its about time the punishments dished out in this country fit the crime. What deterrent is there for these young thugs!!

I could not stop my eyes welling up this morning watching his distraught parents - there but for the grace of god.

I teach my children to defend themselves but there is no way to defend yourself against a bullet.

RIP angel.

Poor little lamb... RIP Rhys :-(

I don't understand why anyone would do this to a child.

Little ******** need to be released to his family for some punishment.....

His highschool uniform is hanging in his wardrobe unworn. A big milestone in a childs life and he was so close, yet never made it.

I hope this/these murderer(s) die. I honestly do. Speechless, but thought I should say something.

RIP little one.

dreadful........ thoughts are with his parents/family

I was thinking back to when I was 11, I can't even contemplate being shot, We've all (probably) had experiences with bullies, But nothing like a bullet..., I suppose it could have been drug related, But thats no excuse to kill another person at all! (there is never an excuse to take another life.)

Its just appalling, Every week there seems to be someone else killed/badly wounded or a new terrorist threat etc, Can see why so many people emigrate from Britain (well we sort of have as we live on the IOM, Although still go across to see family/friends.)
#27
You know the best bit?, The 15 year old will get a very low sentance and we won't even be allowed to see what he looks like as he is under 16!

It really is going down the pan, (or should that be "already has"), Its just getting worse and worse.

If its not the immigrants coming in taking all the jobs, Its not enough housing so it costs a fortune for a first time buyer, If its not that its mad people trying to blow us up, Then there is the knife/gun/drug culture, Then there is the whole sky high theft/burglaries rate, The police are a joke, You can't park without getting a ticket, You can't drive without looking for speed cameras etc, It is just ridiculous!

I could go on and on but I won't, Fact is an 11 year old kid has been shot, There are no excuses that could ever justify that, Its just appalling. :-(

It'll be exactly like the 2 kids that killed James Bulger (I think that was his name. Could have been Jamie!) They were in a young offenders home and then released and now living somewhere like New Zealand for their own safety.

I personally think that when they find the little **** that did this, the police shouldn't do anything. Everybody should just be made aware of who the person is and the general public can deal with it. They deserve to live in fear for the rest of their life. that will be one persons life that I won't care if it's cut short!

James, known as Jamie. Another awful incident which is very close to home

What was released in the newspapers was bad enough, but my friends dad works in the mortuary where his body was taken, and they had done a lot more too horrible to mention to the poor child.

Mums friend was out with her daughter and the 2 boys were talking to her daughter, mum had hold of her hand though and took her away. She later found out what had happened to Jamie Bulger and realised it could have been her daughter. She is still very protective of her daughter now, and hardly lets her our of her sight!

Australia are due to restart their scheme of paying people to move there who fit into a particular skilled proffesion where they are lacking people.

Let's all sod off and leave England to the immigrants. :-D

Yeah I have checked today and my profession is one they require and I have enough points to get in. I have requested all the paperwork and the more I think about the more I want to leave this **** hole.
#35
Were about do you find all the info fireheaven?

Here - http://www.workpermit.com/australia/skills_in_demand.htm

It gives you a list of the trades in demand and will calculate your points (in theory) as to whether you would qualify.

Yep, i've checked and also qualify. But i don't think i'd ever manage to convince Mrs Sy to move so far away otherwise i'd happily go tomorrow.

The whole problem is that the under age criminal knows the law can't touch them, no matter what they do. In the case of the Bulger killing, the scum that did it are living it up in a hot, sunny country at our expense, for the sake of their own human rights :x
It isn't right. It just isn't. Yet, the model UK citizen that maybe overparks for 10mins gets hammered by some zealous traffic warden looking for a bonus or a trophy. It's true, and i've been saying it for ages. This country is going down the toilet and govt does nothing to stop it. If I had the money, i'd turn my back on this place for good. There is nothing great about GB any more. It's a cesspit run by a govt that only cares about economic prosperity over what once made the UK a nice place to be. A country with a justice system that lets paedophiles walk free because of their religeous persuasion.
It will get worse before it gets better.
#39

I've had our papers in for over a year now, saw this coming a long time ago, can't wait for my papers to drop on the doorstep, don't even think I will have to time to say goodbye, I will be on that plane quicker than you can say HUKD. :whistling:
