I've been looking for a 32" 1080p set for a while now, really only want to pay £300 but don't mind paying £350 is special cases.
Anyway, Richersounds dropped the price of their 5 series Samsung from £400 to £350 in the last couple of days, so i thought i'd take advantage.
Rang up only to be told they do not have any in any of the branches and will not be stocking them at all, while also informing me that they've not had any in stock for weeks nationwide and some stores never had any to begin with.
They then went on to say they had much better sets in stock for a little extra and I should come in blah blah blah sales commission based rubbish talk ensued.
So basically they are advertising a product they don't have, don't plan to get in stock and never had many when they were £400 nevermind then price dropping it to £350 knowing they can't honour their deal at all, is there no law against this? If not there should be.
Richersounds, used to get all my fund, i've spent £1k's in the last ten years there but each year the pull a cheap stunt like this and each year i lose more respect for them. Right now I'll never deal with them again.
