Ridley Scott doing "Alien" prequel

Judging by the story, I'm actually looking forward to this. Alien was a brilliant film and Aliens stepped the action up a notch, but it went downhill from then, although I didn't mind "Resurrection" hated AvP movies.
By the looks of it, he's going for the "space Jockey" story, let's hope he gets Giger involved.

My anticipation has been dampened by the 3D bandwagon jumping of the producers.

I suppose he had no choice, it appears that everything is going that way now. If it's done right i have no problems, and as long as you have a 2D/3D choice:thumbsup:

He said that 3D doesn't like darkly lit rooms so he's having to film in brightly lit rooms and darken them up in post production. Oh how I wish he'd just look at what made the original so brilliant...

Oh and he's doing two.

Theoretically there shouldn't be any humans in the film(s) as they were first discovered in Alien, having said that Ian Holm's character knew about the derelict space craft on LV426 so maybe they could go that route....hmmm reading this back to myself it's clear that i have seen the films far too many times:?:?:?
