  It's just sad to see a player who has already had an eight-month ban for 'missing' a drugs test not learn to improve his behaviour. Really you have to ask why his manager can't try and teach him to be a better citizen.

  I doubt it. Fergie has checked out. 10 years ago he might have but he's not the same guy who kicked a boot at Beckham and wasn't afraid to let players like Stam leave when they courted too much attention. Now he's just the mouthpiece for the Glazers and he's preparing for retirement.

  Not sure why the word "missing" is in quote marks.
  
  Rio will only receive punishment if Terry faces punishment for his racist comments(no alleged, or quote marks), otherwise the "Kick it out" campaign will get serious critism and will be set back years.

  The problem is that I don't know if Rio has a defence like Terry did, regardless of whether or not you think Terry said something to insult Anton.
  
  What is interesting is that Rio posted that 'Liar, Liar' tweet earlier in the week yet no-one at the club warned him. Even now he's still on Twitter. Are you seriously saying that the old Fergie who dragged Ryan Giggs home from parties (sorta) wouldn't have told Rio what was what?

  Actually the insult he used could be argued to be more powerful when used by one black man (or mixed race) against another.
  
  Why someone connected with the club didn't have a word with him about his tweeting before this I don't know. It's now affecting his availability to play for the people who pay him. If his account isn't deleted, I wonder what that says about Fergie's position.

  So if Suarez got 8 games, I think Ferdinand probably needs to get 4 which means they'll be without Smalling and Rio at the start of the season whilst Vidic is still coming back from a bad knee injury.
  
  Surely Rio has to be told by the club to get off of Twitter.
