Moved to misc, as this is not a HUKD site issue.

Why not give them a call and sort it out? I assume you took their personal details as per the guidelines in the for sale forum?

lol...did you miss the blatant swear in the op?

That's the problem with this type of year, not much you can do really, you could contact the police but I doubt they would do much. Definitely leave negative feedback but unfortunately the seller will just create another account or use another forum to con people.

Personally I would recommend only using Paypal gift or BT if you've dealt with the seller before or they have high feedback. Make sure you get all of their details and verify them too (either by phoning them / sending them a message on E-bay etc). That's all in the FS FT guielines anyway but hardly anyone follows them.

ty for the replies, he had around 47 positive feedback, and 3 negative they were exactly the same as what has happened to me, but they got their items after around 3 weeks, sucks though, lesson learnt though

They've not been on since the 10th. They could be in a mangled heap in ICU for all you know.

If he lives in North Wales I will personally go round in full uniform and get you your money back. Either that or arrest him, interview him and put him in court. I dont care how much it is, I dont like anyone ripping off people.
Incidentall, if yu still have his bank details, it is exremely easy to find out who he is. Takes just one data protection form signed by an inspector and sent to his bank.
