They never chained the laptops, Iphones etc down in the shops?
Because of that, the shop is at fault for not providing any proper security on tens of thousands of pounds worth of goods
#5
at first i thought this was fake...pretty calculated robbery...
#6
I rate those guys.

Savvy enough to wear masks.

#9
Wow...Good job, i just mean they knew what they were doing
#10
I'm sure CCTV footage history will show them scoping the place out days before, but damn that was quick, the chaining down of the stuff is a good point.
suspended#11
yeah, i mean they even chain down the bloody pens in Argos in the UK, lol
#12
thats crazy!
#13
Impressive
#14
Glass windows with all that on display?
#15
Prepare for an influx of apple related product reviews on Bitterwallet.
#16
And who says 'robbers' after the age of 8?
#17
dcx_badass
Yeah because without looking through the window they'd never know what was in an Apple store.....

good point but i had to laugh, i think "apple store" with the big apple mac sign gives everyone a clue whats in the store, haha.
suspended#18
Lol, and the 6 foot tall Iphone/Itouch display thing too. *Gasp* i thought it was Morrisons?

They use the alarm stickers at Apple stores, that go off when they are peeled off
#21
That last comment does look a bit stupid but what I meant was it looks so inviting to thieves, all glass windows with everything at easy reach with no chains.
Look how easily they has everything away as well.
#22
Anyone wanna go up london later.....

Try and get 30 seconds.
#23
they didnt get much considering how many there were amatuers

The best bit is the security guy ha ha

 They could have left doing roly polies & he still wouldn't have caught them.
#25
You know if that first guy didn't slip it could've been 30 seconds :P
#26
Never mind the missing Kensignton locks, they aren't that difficult to rip off anyway. I am surprised that the glass wasn't laminated so. I am sure they are not going to make that mistake again.

true those locks usually can be pulled hard suddenly and come loose, or a screwdriver and a hammer works well too...but then would have ruined their 31secs time!

It would have at least slowed them down enough for the security guard to arrive.
I bet stealing some quavers & a kitkat from the local corner shop would have been harder work!
#29
shocking. There good...

No they don't.

It could be a fake by Apple anyway, knowing that this footage will be posted all over the internet, with iPhone 3GS being shown prominently in it.

I can't believe the doors on a high value item shop like Apple just shattered like that.

Obviously, if it was a set-up, then the thieves would be known, and they'd give the laptops back later. Admittedly, it's unlikely it was, but with these big companies you can't rule anything out.
