Saw Lizzy for the first time in Portsmouth in the 80`s on the Thunder and lightening tour..brilliant, seems like yesterday

Mine would have been between 77 and 79. Used to see loads of bands around that time. Too many to name drop! :p

oh I could name drop loads .. like seeing joy division in 1978 as they were just starting out .. played some grotty night club in altrincham in cheshire near my home town.. that Ian Curtis bloke was well odd

My sentiments entirely. That particular performance featuring the wonderful, and now also sadly departed, Albert King always sends the proverbial shivers up my back.

The only band even more depressing than the Smiths! ( I do of course love classics like love will tear us apart!)
