Agreed Hendrix was a Strat user and so was Clapton Predominantly, Pete Townsend had Rickenbackers up till '67 when he had a couple of Gibson SGs and I think only 2 Les Pauls.

Hendrix used a Right handed strat at woodstock when performing SSB,

Clapton was a Fender man through and through after he left Cream.

George Harrison who wrote while my guitar gently weeps Used Rickenbackers, and Gretsch guitars Mainly.
