Rockband Instrument Question......

My sons Rockband drums have finally died after 7 months of being played to death. First he broke the foot pedal, which, after watching youtube, I fixed with an old flip-flop ;o) for the last 2 months the pads have been hanging on by a thread with the help of duct and parcel tape, but now they have gone beyond repair!

Question is.......Can he buy Guitar hero drums and still play rockband game on them? I know he played guitar hero on his rockband drums but not sure if it can be done visa versa........also does anyone know of any good deals out there on Xbox 360 drums?

thanking you :o)

If it's only seven months old, why not get a replacement set? When the foot pedal broke on the set here after just a month we phoned up to get it fixed and they sent another one out - wouldn't hesitate to get a warranty call for any other parts.

he has them in his bedroom...and to be honest I can hear him on them but it doesnt bother me. They arent excessively loud and he plays them on expert so really gives them a hammering. He is so into them that he has been having proper drum lessons at school and apparently is quite good :-D

I have just found some at argos for £48.69 just for the drums.........is this a fair price?

i should have done that when they 1st broke, but the rest of it really is wear and tear, Each drum pad had a huge hole in it and the whole thing was being held together with tape  He plays them everyday on expert so they get a right hammering. OH has took em to the tip
