Will this mean another poster with welcome to Manchester on it and a picture of shrek?

I said the other day, he'll be at City next season where the money and prospects are. He's got pretty good intution for an ogre.

He wont go to city. Madrid, barca or inter are the only clubs that could get him imo

No chance, they couldn't afford him

He's coming to save Liverpool LOL

Liverpool should put a cheeky bid in for him in january. I reckon they'd snap him for a few mill and pay him per goal.

He'd have to lose a bit of weight first though 'cos they would be mistaking him for Hodgson on the training pitch.

1 game on the bench and a made up story from the mirror and look what happens.....

That was long before his situation changed so dramatically.

good let him go

Rooney won't leave Utd while Ferguson is there and most probably will be there for the rest of his career, unless they rapidly decline after Ferguson's exit, and hopefully they will :p

I had the unfortunate displeasure of watching Arsenal on Saturday. I have never been in the presence of so many fickle "fans". Not to mention hypocritical.
#25
That's typical paper talk, Not even any Rooney quotes suggesting he wants to leave.

Obviously because Rooney's not on form and clearly it's affecting his performances, Fergie's protecting him and also trying to pick the best team he can.

When he scores again he'll bounce back to the Rooney we all know and love.

It's a bit like Torres he's pretty much useless at the moment and was crap at the world cup, But clearly he's still a great player with natural ability.

Did you enjoy watching football the way it should be played?

The food at Arsenal is also great but expensive. Fans are as fickle as they are at any other club. I've watched United and you would have thought someone had forced them to the game rather than doing it out of choice. Moaning northerners.

Arsenal had two stand out players. Usually when I watch United they have more than that. If Diaby had pace and could shoot, he would be the best midfielder in the Premiership. I was surprised by him. I genuinely thought he was garbage. Wilshere was awesome. Arshavin was DIRE.

The coffee in The Emirates was awful.

Yeah I did say that. I would definitely have Rooney. Look at him last season. You don't just turn in to a bad player after a couple of prostitutes.

why would a player refuse to enter into contract talks out of interest if he has no intent of leaving, surely that says he is keeping his options open with all the rigmarole that is surrounding him at the moment

and what about that "injured" ankle ferguscum keeps mentioning

Rooney peaked last season, he'll hit form again but he'll never emulate 2009/2010 in my opinion.

If it is true then they can't afford to let him walk out in 18 months time on a free, so what do they do? With a fair few players now knocking on he's their most bankable asset and they are heavily in debt.

They may be laughing at Liverpool's' recent situation but it looks a lot grimmer for Man Utd financially.

i think his wife has more to do with this than ferguson,i think they will move abroad because she wants out of brittain

Because United don't discuss player contract's until their signed, He's got just over a year left on his current contract, Would you want to offer Rooney a new improved contract if he was playing as he is doing now?.

May be United may want to rethink, He was going to be United's best paid player, I'm sure he'll sign a new contract though and when he does his form will improve.

As for his phantom injury clearly Fergie was just trying to protect him, He's not going to do Rooney any favours by saying " I've not picked him because he's playing like a dead donkey."

Load's of paper talk regarding Vidic, He still signed a new contract, I'm not worried, Rooney was always a United fan, He love's United, Everton was simply a front for his family.

Makes me wonder how long this has been going on for given his world cup form perhaps they fell out last season. Can't see Rooney playing Spanish football for some reason. Lets hope for the premiership sake that he refinds his form and stays at Utd. Too many great players have left these shores already and at the moment the prem is not really set Europe alight.

I though it was very odd (almost premeditated) the way he didn't go along with the ankle injury excuse.

i thought it was public knowledge he has so far refused to enter into contract talks with scum again.....

besides looks like his relationship is souring the same way as beckhams did with ferguscum, he went out of his way to contradict ferguscums comments about his ankle saying he hadnt had any problems with it at all. what after chucking on him on for the last 20 mins on the wing.......

hell be gone and then where will you be..... no assets no money

He's Everton through and through. He left to further his career and win things but he's said on numerous occasions that Everton will always be 'his' team.

I know it will never happen but I would love to see him to return to Everton and find his form for them. Be a change from the money orientated circus football has turned into.

Who says he's refused to talk? The media yes the media, it's a circus.

The truth is United probably haven't even drawn up a contract for him to sign. With United's current financial problems and Rooney's in ability to perform, United are probably holding off the contract who perhaps are thinking about adding some performance based bonus's.

Rooney's different from the other player's, He's just having a bad time at the moment, Fergies got dementia.

Rooney will be back with a bang.
