Rotating a MP4 file ?

I have some MP4 files which were taken on my phone and they need rotating so does anyone know any good free software to rotate them with,

I'd have a look at Virtualdub, it may be able to do this for you depending on the codec used for the mp4.

i dont think i can mate, its doesnt recognise the files i think its because they are mp4 :S

Thats seems a little confusing mate lol, i just want a simple video editor which allows me to rotate the video and thats it.

All you need to do is open the video file, add a rotate then resave it - the software is much simpler than most other video editors.

Oh, Well you could convert it to AVI and then use Windows Movie Maker to rotate it.

Then if necessary convert the rotated AVI back to MP4.

Obviously probably more hassle than it's worth and you would need converting software etc but it would work failing all.
