I sent my phone to fonebank on monday, they offerred me £40 for it. Anyway according to track and trace its still at the post office, well its "been accepted at X Post Office". I called them and they said they cant track it - I presume its lost if its still not been delivered either tues or today. I will have to make compensation claim for it - anyone done that before? I think I have to wait a while. I am even more annoyed as I sent something else normal delivery at the same time and it got there yest. Now who knows where my phone is

Best thing to do is ring the delivery office direct where it was last tracked and ask the line manager for that post code, to speak to the postman.

its not tracked at a delivery office - only the post office where I sent it from

I had this when i sent my phone to envirophone turns out they have to go collect their recorded delivery items themselves hence why it takes longer. It only changes when they've signed for it.

No i sent it to the non freepost address which they said to send things too if sending special (I sent recorded) It cost £1.65 to send it

A recorded item doesnt track until its been signed for which is why the last point on its journey where it was tracked is the post office, so as feisty said its probably sat in a sorting office waiting to be picked up.
