I posted this to someone in london but its still at my local post office :s, does this mean royal mail have the item or have they returned it? Im confused.

Btw 30 stoke poges is my post office.

it means the item has been accepted at that post office from you. you handed it to them and it was accepted.. least...thats what i think.

lol.....This happened to me!! Basically its there to show that you posted it, they did this as some people at the PO nabbed the goods!!

Its all good! :thumbsup:

Thats what i thought or maybe it means its been returned? Ill go to them tomorrow just incase.

I posted an item first clas signed for, the following day it was showing still at the PO and the guy I sent it to sent an email to say thanks he had received it?? I checked again and it was still at the PO apparently.... waste of time checking :thumbsup:

it means thats were it is on its journey to the person you posted it to.
If you keep tracking you will see it move on and finaly be deliverd.:thumbsup::whistling:

If they want you to collect it they would have asked you.
Send many letter with tracking from work, this system is only as good as the inputs.
Quite often they take many days to update, and goods have already been delivered.
Try the phone number better answers.

It means it has entered the PO pipeline for onward delivery. The two values for the first track are accepted or rejected; you would only be getting it back if it was rejected.

It should not be rejected if you posted it at your local PO, as they would check it was not too big, too heavy, etc., before they took it off you, usually as part of checking the postage value is right.

Stuff gets a rejected track if, the first time it is handled, it cannot go through the mail pipeline. Usually this is stuff that RM receive in bulk which is rejected when it first gets sorted. Apart from size or weight it could be rejected if it is damaged when it is received, isn't labeled well enough to deliver, is leaking its contents, and so on.

grrr.. im annoyed cos i posted a recorded parcel a week ago and its still 'at' my local PO apparently? Shud of got to its destination ages ago. So much for me trying to get items delivered on time
